Hi, I'm Susan. I am the maker and creator behind Nayot Studio, specializing in contemporary design, curation, and illustration, driven by a lifelong love for handcrafted art and intentional design.

That passion for making inspired The Aleph by Nayot, a line of premium curated Hebrew bead kits. Every collection is rooted in the same intention: to bring Hebrew and Jewish identity into the home in a way that feels both meaningful and stylish. As a Jewish American and Israeli mother raising my children abroad, I felt a personal urgency to create what I couldn't find—and to curate what I wished had existed.

My path to the studio wound through over a decade of international humanitarian work across Nigeria, Mexico, Israel, and Honduras — years that immersed me in handmade craft traditions and deepened a lifelong pull toward making. I grew up in Michigan and currently live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
